The Vedanta group stopped their Sterlite Coppper plant in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi on Friday, a day before the Supreme Court deadline of July 31, "to allow enough time for the defrosting process".
The Vedanta Group on Friday informed that their oxygen plant will stop functioning today, a day before the Supreme Court deadline of July 31, "to allow enough time for the defrosting process". On April 27 this year, the Supreme Court had allowed Vedanta Group's Sterlite to start operating its closed Copper plant in Tamil Nadu's Thoothukudi for three months till July 31 in view of the oxygen crisis during the second wave of Covid-19.More Related News
