A special court rejected the plea by AIADMK leaders Edappadi K Palaniswami (EPS) and O Panneerselvam (OPS) seeking exemption from personal appearance in a defamation case. The court has ordered them to appear before the court on 14 September. The defamation case was filed before the special court by AIADMK spokesperson V Pugazhendhi after he was expelled from the party for ‘anti-party’ activities. Pugazhendhi filed a case against EPS and OPS stating that he was removed from the party on baseless allegations and that his expulsion tarnished his image.More Related News
