Tamil Nadu: Ruckus outside vaccination centre in Trichy over shortage of doses

Officials later arranged more vaccine doses after people in Tamil Nadu's Trichy refused to leave without getting vaccinated.

Around 250 people created a ruckus outside a vaccination centre in Tamil Nadu’s Trichy after being told that vaccine doses for the day were over. Earlier, a press release of district officials had informed the public that 750 doses will be given to people who are awaiting their second dose.
