Tamil Nadu Police rescues woman dragged out of marriage registration office by family

Tamil Nadu Police on Tuesday rescued a woman who was dragged out of a marriage registration office by her family in Nagapattinam.

People outside Nagapattinam Magistrate Court in Tamil Nadu witnessed a dramatic scene on Tuesday when two men dragged a woman out of the marriage registration office.

As she was begging them to leave her alone, the public surrounded the two men and began asking questions. One of the men holding the woman said that he's a Village Administrative Officer (VAO) and also her father.
