The Tamil Nadu Police Museum in Chennai was unveiled by Chief minister MK Stalin.
The Tamil Nadu Police Museum at Egmore, Chennai, has been opened to the public and was unveiled by Chief Minister MK Stalin on Tuesday.The museum holds almost 200-year-old artifacts. In fact, the building in which the museum has been built was the old Commissioner’s office of Chennai Police from 1856 to 2013.
Considering the heritage of the building, it has been turned into a museum at the cost of Rs 6.47 crore.Furthermore, artifacts seized from sandalwood smuggler Veerappan, LTTE Prabhakaran have also been displayed in the museum.
