Over three tonnes of red sandalwood, worth around Rs 2.5 crore, was seized by Tamil Nadu police in Kanchipuram from an abandoned lorry. The lorry, with an Uttar Pradesh registration, was found abandoned for a long time near Vinayagapuram.
