A police constable shot himself with his rifle in Tamil Nadu's Chennai and is said to be in a critical condition.

A police constable is in critical condition after he allegedly shot himself with a rifle on Saturday night in Tamil Nadu's capital city, Chennai. P Veluchamy, who was posted as a guard at the government guest house, shot himself with a 7.62 bolt action rifle, police said on Sunday.
