Tamil Nadu: Over 100 school buildings to be demolished in Pudukkottai district

The District Collector said that the inspection was done in the last few weeks and the razing down of all the weak structures in the schools will begin from this week onwards.
On December 18, 2021, the District Collector in Pudukkottai, Kavitha Ramu, ordered the demolition of over 100 weak structures in government schools in Tamil Nadu's Pudukkottai district, after receiving an inspection report on the status of school buildings.
The District Collector said that the inspection was done in the last few weeks and the razing down of all the weak structures in the schools will begin from this week onwards.
