Tamil Nadu: Newborn found abandoned in dustbin in Trichy

The baby was found abandoned in a dustbin by a municipal corporation worker in Trichy.

A newborn boy was found abandoned in a dustbin in Trichy district of Tamil Nadu on Thursday. The baby was reportedly born a few hours before he was found abandoned. A municipal corporation worker, Murali, had gone to the dustbin to collect waste. He said the boy's umbilical cord was still attached to his body when he found him.
