Tamil Nadu minister urges President afresh to release 7 convicts in Rajiv Gandhi assassination case

Tamil Nadu Law Minister S Regupathy has urged President Ram Nath Kovind to consider its appeal to release the seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.

Tamil Nadu Law Minister S Regupathy on Wednesday said the state government urged President Ram Nath Kovind to decide its request for the release of seven convicts in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case. Regupathy said if the President did not take an early decision, the Tamil Nadu government would decide on its next course of action.
