Tamil Nadu: Minister’s assistant among 4 BJP workers booked in cash-for-ticket scam

Four BJP workers, including an alleged assistant of a Union minister, booked for cheating in the name of allotting tickets during the Tamil Nadu Assembly election.

The Chennai Police booked four BJP workers for cheating in the name of allotting tickets during the Tamil Nadu Assembly election. One of the accused, Narothamman, is reportedly the assistant of a Union Minister. Complainant Bhuvnesh Kumar, a BJP worker in Arani, claimed that Narothamman had demanded Rs 1 crore for a party ticket.
