Tamil Nadu government slashes petrol prices by Rs 3 per litre in budget speech

Tamil Nadu government has decided to reduce petrol prices by Rs 3 per litre, Finance Minister P Thiaga Rajan said.
The DMK government has lowered the price of petrol in Tamil Nadu as part of its first annual budget announcement. Presenting the budget on Friday, Tamil Nadu Finance Minister P Thiaga Rajan said the prices of petrol will be slashed by Rs 3 per litre in the state. In the run up to the assembly polls held earlier this year, the DMK had promised a reduction of Rs 4 in the price of petrol per litre and a reduction of Rs 5 in the price of diesel per litre if voted into power.More Related News
