Relatives who assembled to witness 22-year-old Nisha's wedding were more than enthralled to see her perform martial arts with dangerous weapons as a way to entertain and create awareness among people. Nisha performed in an open space, wherein her wedding was scheduled to be held, in Tamil Nadu’s Thirukolur village. P Nisha was encouraged by her mother Mani to learn martial arts, especially the Tamil form of Silambam, as she believes that every girl must know the art of staying healthy and should be able to protect herself.
