Tamil Nadu: 31-year-old man hangs self, family blames online gambling addiction

A 31-year-old man hanged himself in Tamil Nadu's Kattukollai village. His family blamed online gambling addiction, due to which he even lost Rs 5 lakh.

A 31-year-old man died by suicide in Tamil Nadu after his family questioned him about his online gambling addiction and the money lost due to it.

The deceased, identified as Anandan, was a resident of Kattukollai village. Anandan acquired a job in a tech firm in Chennai six months ago and was earning Rs 13,000 per month.
