Taliban say top leader appeared in public. Here's why claim may not be true

Taliban has claimed that its supreme leader Haibatullah Akhundzada has made a public appearance on Saturday.
About two months after the Taliban unveiled their interim government in Afghanistan, the group has claimed that its supreme leader Haibatullah Akhundzada made a public appearance on Saturday. Haibatullah Akhundzada apparently visited a religious seminary, Jamia Darul Aloom Hakimia in Kandahar, and addressed his supporters.
If Taliban claims are correct, this was Haibatullah Akhundzada’s first public appearance since the group captured Afghanistan over three months ago in August. Doubts are being cast over the actual turn of events as the Taliban have made the claim of Haibatullah Akhundzada’s public appearance without releasing a photograph or video of their supreme leader visiting the religious school or addressing his supporters.
