An Indian embassy worker in Afghanistan, who left his country and reached Delhi on Sunday, shared the horrific experience that a group of Indians and Afghans had to undergo before boarding their flight to India. “We were taken by Taliban to a security station, sort of police station. They were registering our names, asking whether we were Indians or Afghans. They don’t want Afghan citizens to go out of Afghanistan. They say things are fine, but we know the reality. After some clarifications and negotiating we were allowed to go,” he said.
