Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasmah actor Mandar Chandwadkar Covid positive, is asymptomatic

Mandar Chandwadkar, who plays the role of Bhide in Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has been diagnosed with Covid-19. The actor is asymptomatic and has isolated himself.

Mandar Chandwadkar AKA Bhide from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has now tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Earlier, his co-actor Mayur Vakani had also contracted the disease. In an interview with IndiaToday.in, Mandar said that he was asymptomatic and had isolated himself. He is also taking all the necessary precautions. The actor said, “Yes, I have been tested positive and I am asymptomatic. I am also taking all the necessary precautions given by the doctor and BMC. I had already isolated myself even before the test results came in. Me and my family are taking care. I shall resume work as soon as possible and I am looking forward for the same.”
