T20 World Cup: We see it as another game - Ish Sodhi on hype surrounding New Zealand vs Afghanistan Super 12

New Zealand are aware of the threat posed by Afghanistan's spin attack, but the Blackcaps are confident of sealing a semi-final spot in the T20 World Cup with a win in Abu Dhabi, leg-spinner Ish Sodhi said on Saturday.

New Zealand leg-spinner Isa Sodhi played down the hype behind his team's upcoming match against Afghanistan in the ICC T20 World Cup (2021), saying that they will be treating it as any other game.

New Zealand will join Pakistan in the semifinals if they win whereas an Afghanistan victory will raise India's hopes of going through as the 2007 champions have a better net run rate than any other team in Group 2 and are placed third behind the Blackcaps.
