T20 World Cup: Virat Kohli should not leave captaincy of India ODIs and Test team, says Virender Sehwag
India Today
Virender Sehwag said Virat Kohli should not leave the captaincy of the rest two formats -- Test and ODIs -- after the latter played his last T20I as a skipper on Monday.
Former India opener Virender Sehwag said Virat Kohli leads from the front and he should not leave the captaincy of India's Test and ODI teams. Notably, Kohli's tenure as Indian T20I captain ended after India completed the Super 12s stage of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 with a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Namibia in their last group clash.
Kohli's future as ODI captain will be discussed when the BCCI leadership and the national selectors meet in the next couple of days. The possibility of Kohli losing his ODI captaincy is strong.
