India captain Virat Kohli said the team is delighted to have MS Dhoni as their mentor for the T20 World Cup, starting October 17 in Oman and the UAE. Speaking at the pre-tournament press conference on Saturday, Kohli said having Dhoni's practical inputs will serve as a big boost to India's chances at the premier T20 tournament.
India begin their T20 World Cup campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan in Dubai on October 24. MS Dhoni will join the Team India bio-bubble and work as a mentor alongside Virat Kohli, head coach Ravi Shastri and other members of the leadership group.
