T20 World Cup: Pakistan will try and replicate Champions Trophy 2017 final vs India, says Hasan Ali

T20 World Cup: Pakistan pacer Hasan Ali said there is added pressure on players when it comes to India-Pakistan matches but he said Babar Azam's men are confident of beating India in their opening match in Dubai.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali on Wednesday said Pakistan will try and replicate the Champions Trophy 2017 final against India when the arch-rivals meet in their respective T20 World Cup openers on October 24 in Dubai. Pakistan stunned India in the final of the Champions Trophy in 2017 in London to win an elusive title.

Pakistan have since lost to India in the Asia Cup in 2018 and the World Cup in 2019. In fact, Pakistan have never beaten India in a T20 World Cup fixture, dating from their first-ever meeting in 2007 to the 2016 T20 World Cup match which took place in Kolkata.
