T20 Blast: Kieron Pollard scored 14 runs and picked up one wicket as Surrey beat Gloucestershire by 37 runs at the Kennington Oval,
Former West Indies skipper Kieron Pollard came up with an interesting celebration during Surrey’s match against Gloucestershire on Tuesday, May 31 at the Kennington Oval in London. The veteran scored only 14 runs off 15 balls with one four before Netherlands’ fast bowler Paul van Meekeren dismissed him.
During Gloucestershire’s run-chase, Pollard picked up the wicket of opposition skipper Jack Taylor. After trying to go for an aerial stroke down the ground, the batter flung his bat on the ground as he wasn’t able to time the ball properly.
After Jason Roy took a simple catch, Pollard brought up a unique celebration. The Surrey teammates went up to the Trinidadian and congratulated him.

After being asked to chase 130 in the rain-curtailed match, Gloucestershire strained to find any sort of momentum with the bat. Ryan Higgins top-scored for them with 37 before Sam Curran accounted for his wicket.
