Colchester County District RCMP responded to a home on Bomber Drive for a well-being check around 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 3.
Police found the body of a 42-year-old woman and an unconscious man at the scene. The man was taken to hospital.
The RCMP says the woman’s death has been ruled a homicide. However, they say she was not a victim of intimate partner violence. They also say there is no evidence to suggest the public is at risk.
Police have not released any details about the man’s condition, their relationship, or whether he is considered a suspect. CTV News has reached out to the RCMP for more information.
The RCMP says investigators have executed search warrants to collect evidence related to the homicide and the Major Crime Unit is leading the investigation.
