The mayor of Surfside, Florida, is calling for people who live in a building near the collapsed condo tower to relocate.
Champlain Towers North is located a block away from the site of Thursday’s deadly catastrophe — and like its sister structure, is a 12-story apartment building constructed in 1981. “I am going to recommend that we move people out of that building,” Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett said Friday, according to WSVN.More Related News
