Calcutta High Court has been asked to decide on fresh pleas by Mamata Banerjee and Moloy Ghatak on accepting affidavits at the next hearing date - June 29
The Supreme Court on Friday stayed a Calcutta High Court order refusing to take on record affidavits filed in connection with the Narada case by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and others. The court directed Ms Banerjee and others - the Bengal government and Law Minister Moloy Ghatak - to file fresh pleas asking the High Court to reconsider taking the affidavits on record. The High Court has been asked to decide on the fresh pleas - and accepting the affidavits - at the next scheduled hearing date - June 29. The orders from the Supreme Court came after two judges - Justices Aniruddha Bose and Indira Banerjee - recused themselves from hearing this case.More Related News
