Support for Virat Kohli floods Twitter after Sourav Ganguly’s ‘leave it to BCCI’ statement
India Today
The numerous tweets about the controversy about Virat Kohli's captaincy led to the hashtags #WorldStandsWithKohli and #NationStandsWithDada trending on Twitter.
The “tussle” between Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) president Sourav Ganguly and former ODI captain Virat Kohli has also created a buzz on Twitter. He could have easily skipped those questions or could have taken Ganguly's side but he chose to stay honest and speak for what's right. Man is as honest as it gets. #WorldStandsWithKohli pic.twitter.com/MrdLVFrv6q #WorldStandsWithKohliKing kohli ka apmanNahi sahega hindustan pic.twitter.com/it4t0fXiMw #WorldStandsWithKohliGreatest Ever Test Captain pic.twitter.com/F0vhYk7zl2 Few hates him but tons of people loves him.#WorldStandsWithKohli pic.twitter.com/kLmp2P1rOU A Lion Doesn't Concern Himself With The Opinion of a Sheep..!!And the world knows who's the Lion King...!! @imVkohli #WorldStandsWithKohli pic.twitter.com/3CtjNoypv2 One & only King of Cricket.i.e. @imVkohli #WorldStandsWithKohli pic.twitter.com/Bd9DMFQC7f #WorldStandsWithKohliAlways With You MY IDOL pic.twitter.com/AeeYUJ8UVD Virat's Success Does Not Surprise You. After the announcement of Kohli’s removal as ODI captain, he made some “revelations”. During a press conference on Wednesday, Kohli refuted Ganguly’s claim that Kohli was consulted before the captaincy decision was made by the board. He even denied that Ganguly had requested Kohli to continue as T20I captain.
