Supply of 'dysfunctional' ventilators through PM Cares Fund 'serious issue': Bombay HC

The Aurangabad bench of Bombay High Court noted that more than a hundred ventilators provided to hospitals in Marathwada through PM Cares Fund were "dysfunctional".
Terming it as a "serious" issue, the Aurangabad bench of Bombay High Court Tuesday noted that more than a hundred ventilators provided to hospitals under its jurisdiction through the PM Cares Fund were "dysfunctional" and sought to know what measures the Centre proposed to take. A division bench of Justices RV Ghuge and BU Debadwar was hearing a suo motu petition pertaining to Covid management in districts of Marathwada which comes under the jurisdiction of the Aurangabad bench. Amicus Curiae Satyajit S Bora produced local newspaper reports pertaining to non-functional ventilators in the government medical hospitals of Aurangabad.More Related News
