Sudheer Babu postpones song launch of film due to Lata Mangeshkar's death

Sudheer Babu has postponed the song launch of his upcoming film due to Lata Mangeshkar's death. The legendary singer died on February 6 at the age of 92.
Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar breathed her last on February 6 and left her fans and the film industry in shock. Several celebrities from the industry headed to social media to express their heartfelt condolences. Actor Sudheer Babu, who is a big fan of the singer, even postponed the song launch of his much-awaited film as a mark of respect. Speaking to IndiaToday.in, Sudheer expressed his grief and said, "It is a huge loss for all of us."
The makers of Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali had planned to release the first song from the film titled Kottha Kottha Gaa on February 7. However, due to the sudden demise of the singer, the makers cancelled the launch. Sudheer told us, "Actually, we were going to release a song today but we postponed it in memory of Lata ji. She was known as the Nightingale of India and it is a huge loss for each and every one of us. But she will be remembered for all the lovely songs she sang for us."
When asked to pick one of his favorite songs of Lata Mangeshkar, Sudheer Babu said, "It's a little hard to pick one particular song, all the songs she sang were extraordinary. Actually, if you go to see, she has sung songs for every mood, which you can be listened any time."
Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali is an upcoming Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Mohana Krishna Indraganti and produced by Benchmark Studios in association with Mythri Movie Makers. The film features Sudheer Babu and Krithi Shetty in the lead roles.
Lata Mangeshkar was cremated with state honours at Mumbai’s Shivaji Park on February 6. People from all quarters such as PM Narendra Modi, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Sachin Tendulkar, Raj Thackeray, and others, paid their last respects to the legendary singer.
Lata Mangeshkar created a void that will forever remain in our hearts.
