Sudbury police will have an increased presence at a local high school after two threatening messages were found in a bathroom stall.

CTVNewsNorthernOntario.ca obtained a copy of a letter dated April 18 and sent to families with students at St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School.
"We are currently investigating with the support of the Greater Sudbury Police Service a potential threat to take place on April 24," principal Beverley Belanger wrote.
"Conversations with students and parents during this investigation will determine the validity and credibility of the threat."
In a news release Friday morning, Sudbury police confirmed it is investigating the threat.
"School staff located two separate messages written on a bathroom stall describing a school shooting to take place on April 24," police said.
"There will be an increased visible police presence in the area and inside St. Benedict Catholic Secondary School on April 23 and 24 to ensure public safety and to support staff and students."
