A fall out of post-long COVID among those who do not control their diabetes is that they may require psychiatric support to help them keep depression at bay. An article in Diabetes Care, authored by 10 experts from developing countries who studied the prevalence of depression among patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, found that though depression is common in people with diabetes there was not enough data to prove the co-relation. The authors evaluated the prevalence and risk factors for depressive symptoms in patients with diabetes using data from the International Diabetes Management Practices Study.More Related News
