Stress in business often stems from a mismatch between effort and result, says motivational speaker
Stress in business often stems from a mismatch between effort and result, said noted writer and motivational speaker Yandamoori Veerendranath.
He was speaking at a session on ‘How to Handle Stress in Business While Balancing Health and Family Life,’ organised by the CREDAI Visakhapatnam chapter on Monday evening.
He said that hard work without clear productivity, financial worries, and the inability to collect dues were common challenges many face. He referred to this as the ‘Gentleman Syndrome,’ a concept that highlights the struggle between balancing professionalism with assertiveness.
“When our personal, family, and societal circles are misaligned, it creates a domino effect of stress. The key is to identify and balance these areas to regain control,” he said.
He also touched upon the importance of time management, creativity and flexibility in the face of challenges.
Mr. Veerendranath concluded with a philosophical touch, discussing concepts like finding inner peace and embracing individuality.

Fadnavis defends the amendments, calling the original Waqf Act “draconian” and prone to misuse. He claims the new legislation aligns with constitutional principles and Supreme Court verdicts, and promises action against Congress leaders allegedly involved in a significant Waqf land scam between 2000 and 2014.
