Stranger Things 4 premiere date is out, to release in two parts. See new posters

Netflix has finally revealed the premiere date of Stranger Things 4. The series will be out in two parts - Volume 1 on May 27 and Volume 2 on July 1.

The much-anticipated Stranger Things 4 has finally got its premiere date. The series will be released in two parts. Volume 1 will stream from 27, while Volume 2 will be out on July 1. The makers also shared news posters of Season 4 on social media.

Stranger Things 4's last teaser was released in May last year. On February 17, the premiere dates of the new season was revealed. In an open letter to fans, series creators the Duffer Brothers revealed when new episodes will debut on Netflix, and more about the future Stranger Things. In the letter, the makers wrote that 'Stranger Things 4 was the most challenging season yet, but also the most rewarding one. They further wrote, "Given the unprecedented length, and to get it to you as soon as possible, Season 4 will be released in two volumes. Volume One will release on May 27th; Volume Two will release five weeks later on July 1st."

Brothers also revealed that Stranger Things will come to an end in the next season. "Seven years ago, we planned out the complete story arc for Stranger Things. At the time, we predicted the story would last four to five seasons. It proved too large to tell in four, but -- as you'll soon see for yourselves-- we are now hurtling toward our finale. Season 4 will be the penultimate season; Season 5 will be the last," read the letter.

The official synopsis on Stranger Things 4 reads, "It’s been six months since the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down."

Millie Bobby Brown plays the central character named Eleven in Stranger Things. The end of Season 3 also showed Eleven losing her powers as a result of fighting a monster. Stranger Things also stars Finn Wolfhar, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery and Caleb McLaughlin, among others.
