A new Congress panel for “sustained agitations” on national issues has generated a lot of interest in the Grand Old Party. The panel, tasked to plan nationwide stirs, is headed by former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Digvijaya Singh who has been out of the loop since 2017 when he was removed as AICC general secretary. Significantly, the nine-member panel has Priyanka Gandhi Vadra as a member. Congress insiders say the composition of the panel bears a distinct Priyanka stamp. She seems eager to take an aggressive stance against Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre. The panel plans to take up the recent National Education Policy (NEP), increase in prices of essential commodities, LPG, fuel, National Monetisation Pipeline policy and various other economic and political issues.More Related News
