Steve Scalise raises record $5.6M in Q3 to help GOP retake the House

Republican Whip Steve Scalise of Lousiana raised more than $5.6 million in the last three months for the GOP's efforts to retake the House of Representatives.
"I feel very confident the [GOP majority] will be in the double digits," said Scalise. Scalise has raised nearly $52 million since the start of 2021. More than $29 million of that sum has come from grassroots fundraising online, and nearly 50,000 people have donated in the past three months.
