State Department re-issues dire 'Do Not Travel' warning for Venezuela

The State Department has warned Americans not to travel to Venezuela in South America as hundreds of thousands of its citizens continue to pour into the U.S.

"Do not travel to Venezuela due to crime, civil unrest, kidnapping, and the arbitrary enforcement of local laws," the notice on the State Department’s website reads. "Violent crimes, such as homicide, armed robbery, kidnapping, and carjacking, are common in Venezuela," the notice reads.
