St. Patrick's Day is off to a grey start with a fog advisory issued in Hamilton, Brant County and the Niagara region.
Environment Canada says there will be locally dense fog this morning which will lead to "near zero visibility."
"Travel is expected to be hazardous due to reduced visibility in some locations," it said in the advisory.
"If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop."
Wednesday also started off with fog too. But there's good news for those looking to enjoy St. Patrick's Day.
Thursday's forecast from the national weather agency predicts Hamiltonians will see a high of 17 C and a mainly sunny day.
Fog patches will develop again near midnight tonight. The skies will be partly cloudy and there will be a slight chance of showers, Environment Canada says. The temperature will drop to 3 C.
On Friday, the agency says, the skies will be mainly cloudy with fog patches dissipating in the morning. The high will be 11 C.
The daily temperature on Saturday and Sunday is predicted to be 9 C.
