
SS Rajamouli signs up with Hollywood talent agency CAA after RRR's global success

American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA) has signed director SS Rajamouli. His film RRR has received a lot of praise in the West.
After the humongous success of RRR in the West, filmmaker SS Rajamouli has been signed by the American talent agency Creative Artists Agency (CAA). This news comes just a few days after his Jr NTR and Ram Charan-starrer was rebuffed as India’s Oscar entry. The Film Federation of India announced Chhello Show as India's entry for Oscars 2023, despite many thinking that RRR, which earned more than Rs 1000 crore worldwide at the box office, being the frontrunner in the race.
According to a report in Deadline, SS Rajamouli has been signed by CAA. "In a coup for the agency, CAA has signed in-demand Indian filmmaker SS Rajamouli," reported Deadline. Rajamouli's RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, impressed the West and won a lot of love from Hollywood.
RRR, SS Rajamouli's first film after Baahubali 2(2017), is a period drama that features Jr NTR and Ram Charan as the fearless tribal leader Komaram Bheem, and the braveheart Alluri Sitarama Raju, respectively. The larger-than-life drama celebrates their fight against the British Empire. It also explores the intense friendship between the characters. RRR stars Alia Bhatt as the female lead. She is paired opposite Ram Charan in her first Telugu movie.
The ensemble cast includes Ajay Devgn,Samuthirakani, Shriya Saran, Hollywood actor Ray Stevenson, and Olivia Morris, among others. Its music was composed by MM Keeravani, who is also known as MM Kreem.The soundtrack featured chartbusters such as Naatu Naatu and Komuram Bheemudo. It is produced by DVV Danayya. This was his first film after Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
