Marvel's Doctor Strange screenwriter, C Robert Cargill, only just watched SS Rajamouli's RRR. After his friends came over and insisted that he surrender to this movie. He did. And he is a total convert. And Indian fans totally loving this 'marvel'ous news!
SS Rajamouli's RRR, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, along with Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, recently wreaked havoc at the Indian box office. There was a lot of expectation from this Rajamouli film, especially since his previous film, Baahubali, became such a hit. And, Rajamouli did not disappoint his fans. The film went on to earn over Rs 1150 crore at the box office. Now, the film is available on Netflix. So, clearly, more people are watching it, especially across the globe. One of them happens to be Marvel's Doctor Strange screenwriter, C Robert Cargill.
Cargill took to Twitter to reveal that his friends came over and initiated him 'into the cult of RRR (RISE ROAR REVOLT)'. And now that he has watched it, he is 'fully, truly, deeply a member'. He tweeted, "Friends came over last night to initiate me into the cult of RRR (RISE ROAR REVOLT) and I'm here to report I am now fully, truly, deeply a member. This is the craziest, most sincere, weirdest blockbuster I've ever seen. I'm pretty sure Jess and I are watching it again this week (sic)."

Several Indian fans commented on his tweet out of sheer joy. One person shared a clip of RRR being played at a theatre. There's confetti and there's loud cheering, all for Jr NTR as he appears on the screen. Another wrote, "The opening sequence where the hero goes into the raging crowd to apprehend the rioter who threw the rock... Might be the best action sequence of the 21st century (sic)."
