Sri Lanka suspends all arrivals for 10 days

Doha: Sri Lanka has decided to suspend all passenger arrivals from May 21 for 10 days.
Local media quoted Civil Aviation Authority of Sri Lanka as saying that the flight arrivals from May 21 midnight to May 31 midnight will be suspended. “All International Airports in Sri Lanka will not disembark passengers into Sri Lanka with effect from 2359hrs on 21st May 2021 (local time Sri Lanka) until 2359hrs on 31st May 2021 (local time Sri Lanka) in view of controlling the COVID-19 pandemic. During the above-mentioned restricted period, Aircraft departures with passengers originating from BIA/MRIA and passengers transiting at BIA/MRIA for less than 12 hours with a confirmed ticket destined to an onward destination, will be permitted,” BandaranaikeMore Related News
