SRH vs RR: Sanju Samson 19th batsman to complete 3000 IPL runs, tops list of highest scorers in 2021 season

Sanju Samson smashed 82 off 57 balls with 7 fours and three sixes against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 40 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) in Dubai.

Sanju Samson on Monday added yet another feather to his cap as he completed 3000 runs in the Indian Premier League and took the lead in the list of most runs in the tournament this season to clinch the Orange Cap from Delhi Capitals opener Shikhar Dhawan.

Samson smashed 82 off 57 balls with 7 fours and three sixes against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 40 to become the 19th batsman to reach 3000 IPL runs. He scored his 15th fifty and second in succession to go past Dhawan's tally of 430 runs.
