Chennai Super Kings opener Faf du Plessis said the team has been able to turnaround their fortunes this season by making a few changes from last year. The South African's statement came after CSK reclaimed the top spot on the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 points table after beating Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 23 on Wednesday. CSK easily chased down the target of 172 with 7 wickets in hand and 9 balls to spare thanks to the opening partnership worth 129 runs between du Plessis (56) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (75). The win was CSK's 5th in succession. Their performance so far in IPL 2021 has been completely different to what happed last year when they failed to make the playoffs for the first time in the history of the tournament.
