Sreenivasan's health update is out. Actor responding well to treatment

Malayalam actor-director Sreenivasan is currently responding well to the treatment. He underwent bypass surgery and was put on ventilator support.
Malayalam actor and filmmaker Sreenivasan is stable and responding well to the treatment. The actor underwent cardiac bypass surgery at a private hospital in Angamaly, Kerala. As his oxygen levels dropped, he was put on ventilator support. The latest medical bulletin suggests that Sreenivasan is still on ventilator support, but responding well to the treatment.
On March 30, Sreenivasan complained of chest pain and rushed to a hospital nearby. Reportedly, he suffered a cardiac arrest and doctors found that there were three blocks in his blood vessels. Following the diagnosis, he underwent bypass surgery a couple of days ago.
As per the medical bulletin which was released on April 7, Sreenivasan is recovering and in stable condition. "He is recovering in the Coronary Care Unit (CCU). His progress to illness is satisfactory and he is responding well to treatments and medication," read the health update.
Back in January 2019, Sreenivasan was admitted to Ernakulam Medical Centre after complaining of breathing issues. He was put on ventilator support then. However, he recovered after treatment. Doctors suggested that Sreenivasan suffered a minor heart failure.
On the work front, Sreenivasan was last seen in Fahadh Faasil-starrer Njan Prakashan, which released in 2018. He also wrote the screenplay for the film.
