Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham introduces the Amrita Entrance Examination Engineering, or AEEE 2022, for students desirous to get admission to Amrita School of Engineering. AEEE 2022 will be conducted in two phases. The better score from the two phases of exams will be considered for eligibility. While Amrita School of Engineering will be starting the phase one test from July 1 to 4, 2022, phase two will be commencing from July 22 to 25, 2022. The AEEE 2022 will be based on the pattern of JEE Mains 2022.
70 per cent of seats in each branch is reserved for candidates with AEEE 2022 ranks. One-fourth of seats are set apart for JEE Mains, and three per cent and two per cent of seats, respectively, are earmarked for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) score and Pearson UG Entrance Examination (PUEE) score, as per the release shared by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The university also extends an opportunity to the candidates who are interested in attending the free AEEE - JEE practice test conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham every Sunday.
50 per cent seats are reserved for meritorious students who score high rank in AEEE 2022, top percentile or scores in JEE Mains 2022, top scorers in SAT and PUEE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham on the release said.
“Scholarship seat is allotted during the centralised seat allotment process, based on the rank and the choice of the branch opted by the candidate. Scholarship in the subsequent years of programme is based on the CGPA scored.” The university added.
