Former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta, speaking to Sports Today, lauded Prasidh Krishna, saying the India pacer's control over his mindset is pretty impressive.
Former India wicketkeeper Deep Dasgupta heaped rich praise on Prasidh Krishna, saying the India pacer had told him in Pune how he had sorted out his lengths to make a comeback in his second spell during the first ODI against England. Krishna, who leaked 37 runs in his first three overs, came back strongly and troubled the batsmen with his ability to generate extra bounce. Notably, Krishna returned to break the opening stand between Bairstow and Roy that accounted for 135 runs in just 14.2 overs. Krishna got the wicket of Roy to trigger an England collapse as the visitors went from 135 for 0 to 176 for 5. Krishna kept picking up wickets at regular intervals as he grew in confidence. He removed Ben Stokes (1), Sam Billings (18) and Tom Curran (11) to complete a record-breaking spell in his maiden international outing.More Related News
