Spate of NYC subway violence continues with five new incidents, cops say

An off-duty MTA conductor was slashed and a man was stabbed with an ice pick in a rash of recent violence in the subway system, according to cops and police sources.
The 52-year-old conductor was riding a northbound J train at the Crescent Street station in Cypress Hills around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday when a man passing through train cars attacked him with an orange box cutter without warning, according to cops and the sources. He was stabbed in the left eye and ear, and slashed in the forehead, the sources said.More Related News
