Van der Dussen got to his hundred in just 83 balls as South Africa looked set to post a big total in the series opener.
Rassie van der Dussen was proactive from the word go as he helped push the momentum of the South African innings after they opted to bat in the first ODI on a slow pitch at the Boland Park. van der Dussen hit 2 sixes and 8 boundaries as he kept the Indian attack at bay.
