India tour of South Africa: Stressing that India pacers are extremely competitive athletes, KL Rahul said the batters don't like facing the likes of Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and others from the pace battery at the nets.
India have evolved into one of the finest fast-bowling units in Test cricket. Since the start of 2018, Indian pacers have reached new highs, instilling fear in the opposition batters' minds with their pace and accuracy. Led by the likes of Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma, India have an envious pace battery that has been crucial to their dominance away from home in the recent past.
However, newly-appointed Test vice-captain KL Rahul said it's not just the opposition batters who are scared of India pacers but their own batsmen when they face them at the nets. Stressing that the fast bowlers are "extremely competitive athletes", Rahul said they have kept the India batters frightened at the nets.
