Virat Kohli is now without a Test century in 24 innings but looked in good touch before he chased a wide delivery from Lungi Ngidi and was caught by Wiaan Mulder at first slip for 35 on Day 1 in Centurion.

Former fast bowler Ashish Nehra expressed concerns at the way Virat Kohli was dismissed on Day 1 of the Boxing Day Test against South Africa on Sunday but also backed the Indian captain to return to form very soon.

Kohli was caught behind at first slip, edging a ball from Lungi Ngidi outside off-stump on 35. He chased after a wide delivery which he should have left alone but couldn't control himself in going after the ball.
