The District of Sooke is notifying community members that it will be closing down two scenic parks to accommodate the filming of a "popular TV series."

On Saturday, April 29, Whiffin Spit will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Ed MacGregor Park will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The closure at Ed MacGregor Park also includes the closure of the Sooke Marine Boardwalk and the Rotary Pier, according to the district.
Nearby parking lots will also be closed during these times to accommodate filming.

The district adds that production will also be filming in various regions of Sooke on Friday, though no parks or parking lots will be closed on this date.
Crews will be using drones and handheld cameras on Friday, and the public may run into them, the district warns.
