Sonu Sood has opened up about Samrat Prithviraj's fate at the box office. The actor wishes the film had fared well.
Sonu Sood was an integral part of Akshay Kumar-starrer Samrat Prithviraj. In the film, Sood played the role of Chand Bardai. The film was directed by Chandraprakash Diwedi and it was mounted on a big scale. Unfortunately, the film failed to garner a favourable response from the critics and audience alike. Now, Sonu Sood has reacted to the film's fate at the box office. In an interview, Sonu Sood stated that he wished Samrat Prithviraj had done well.
In an interview with PTI, Sonu Sood spoke about his film, Samrat Prithviraj. The actor said, "I wish the film could have done well because there was a lot of hard work put in. As an actor, it is important that you give your 100 per cent and it is up to the audience to decide what is right and what is wrong in it."
The actor further told the news agency, "You have to accept your failures and learn from them and next time you can be better, you can deliver better. I, as an actor, do that. This time we failed but next time we will do well." Sonu went on to add that Samrat Prithviraj will remain one of the special films of his career. " Whatever role I will be offered, I will keep on working hard for it and try to entertain people," he added.
On the work front, Sonu Sood will be next seen in Fateh. The actor will begin shooting for the film in October. Besides this movie, Sood has Kisaan lined up. The film will be directed by E Niwas. On the other hand, he has a Tamil movie with Vijay Anthony.
